Recognition of the Year: Aleksei Serov and Olga Volkova at the Ida-Viru Haridusgala 2025

On September 26, 2025, the annual Ida-Viru Haridusgala took place at the Jõhvi Concert Hall — a festive event honoring the best representatives of the region’s education sector.
The stage brought together teachers, trainers, leaders, and partners for whom education is not just a profession, but a lifelong mission.

This year, 181 applications were submitted from across Ida-Virumaa — from educators working in the field of adult learning.
Each application reflected a unique contribution to the development of education and lifelong learning.

The jury paid special attention to those who help people keep growing, find new meaning, and stay inspired through learning.

In the category “Aasta koolitaja 2025” (Trainer of the Year), a special award was presented to Aleksei Serov and Olga Volkova for their innovative programs that combine education, psychological support, and the development of creativity.

Their work inspires adult learners to discover new paths, trust themselves, and use technology for human well-being.
Their projects unite professionalism and heartfelt care, helping people rediscover the joy of learning and confidence in their abilities.

The Ida-Viru Haridusgala 2025 once again reminded everyone that the true value of education lies in people — those who continue to learn, share, and support others.
