Bringing Innovation into Adult Education and Youth Work
Currently, I work across multiple fields: adult computer courses, training programs for unemployed individuals, and non-formal education for youth — which at times overlaps with formal education. For example, this year I participated in our organization’s “Open Yourself” project at an evening school.
This summer, I had the privilege of participating in an Erasmus+ Learning Mobility of Individuals project in Croatia. My individual training took place in the city of Split, located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. This course provided me with valuable knowledge and skills that significantly enhance my teaching practice in adult computer training and offer new methods applicable in youth non-formal education.
Personalized Learning Paths
I now use the knowledge gained to develop personalized learning plans that take into account each learner’s needs and skill level. This is especially important in adult education, where adapting materials to individual needs makes the learning process more effective and inclusive.
Digital Tools and AI Integration
The course introduced me to various digital tools and applications, such as Immersal, Canva, and other AI-powered platforms. These tools diversify the learning process and can be applied in everyday teaching practice. I plan to integrate them into my lessons to make them more interactive and engaging. The new digital skills I’ve acquired also help free up my time for other tasks.
The ability to create high-quality digital content using tools like Canva and AI technologies allows me to develop attractive learning materials. This significantly increases learner engagement and motivation, making the educational process more effective.
Teamwork and Collaboration
The experience I gained in collaboration and teamwork is now being applied in the design of group projects and collaborative tasks. This helps create a safer and more supportive learning environment, while also enabling learners to develop their communication and teamwork skills.
Inspiration Beyond Adult Education
These courses provided me with fresh ideas and methods that I am excited to apply not only in my adult education practice but also in activities outside this field, including youth work and non-formal learning initiatives.
Erasmus+ gave me not only practical tools but also inspiration — to grow, to adapt, and to keep learning.
