On November 12, 2024, a meaningful event took place at Vestifex — a partner meeting for adult educators involved in the Erasmus+ accreditation project. The meeting was dedicated to shared learning, experience exchange, and planning for the future. Participants came together not only to reflect on the past year’s achievements, but also to share the most valuable practices gained through their individual learning mobilities abroad.
One of the main goals of the accreditation project is to create accessible learning opportunities for people with fewer opportunities and to empower educators with new methods, tools, and global perspectives. The partner meeting brought together educators from Vestifex, Novucenter, and other associated organizations, all of whom have actively participated in international training activities.
Why This Meeting Mattered
This gathering highlighted the importance of coming together after individual experiences. While learning mobility gives trainers a chance to explore new approaches abroad, the real power lies in sharing those insights with colleagues, thereby creating a ripple effect of knowledge and inspiration.
By exchanging practices and reflecting as a team, participants could identify what worked best, what could be improved, and how to enhance the impact of future mobility experiences. The meeting served not just as a recap — but as a strategic step forward.
Highlights from the Exchange
Each participant had the opportunity to present tools, methods, or reflections from their mobility experience:
Aleksei Serov demonstrated a practical tool used during his mobility: the Microsoft real-time translator for conferences, showcasing its potential for multilingual learning environments and inclusive communication.
Svetlana Smirnova reflected on the importance of trainer support and well-being in adult education, especially when working with vulnerable learners or emotionally demanding topics. She share some couching principals.
Olga Volkova introduced the audience to Typeform, an intuitive digital platform that allows educators to design engaging surveys and interactive learning experiences — ideal for collecting feedback and enhancing learner involvement.
Looking Ahead
The day concluded with a collaborative session where educators discussed ideas for the upcoming year. Together, they explored ways to:
Strengthen the transfer of knowledge from mobility experiences to local training programs
Introduce more digital tools to support blended and inclusive learning
Foster a culture of reflection, self-assessment, and peer mentoring among educators
Continue working together across organizations to reach wider, more diverse learner groups
Conclusion
The partner meeting reminded everyone that international learning is not an individual achievement, but a shared opportunity to grow stronger as a professional community. By reflecting together and planning forward, we build the foundation for better, more inclusive, and future-ready adult education.
This event proved that when educators come together with openness and purpose, transformation follows — in the classroom, in the community, and beyond.
