In April 2025, Tatyana Shatil took part in the international Inclusive Education training in Prague, organized by OU Novucenter in frame of accreditation project Erasmus+. The program comprised ten interconnected modules—ranging from the differences between integration and inclusion to curriculum adaptation and intercultural interaction in the classroom.
What mattered most to me was that the careful selection of this program and my mentoring support did not let Tatyana down in her pursuit of deep, practice-oriented learning. As someone who approaches new knowledge consciously and academically, she greatly appreciated the balance of theory and practice: two association exercises have already found their way into her creative work, and the additional assignments met her “for those who need more” request.
I would especially like to note that Tatyana valued not only the substantive content but also the delivery style—a blend of absolute honesty with gently defined personal boundaries. This combination of openness and respect for personal space allowed every participant to open up while maintaining comfort.
Beyond the professional insights, the training gave Tatyana new experiences of Prague: trekking the hills, tasting chocolate in the city center, car-karaoke sessions, and warm conversations with colleagues from various countries. This reaffirmed my belief that quality education is not just lectures but also a living space for inspiration and exchange.
It was a great honor for me to accompany Tatyana on this stage of her journey as an adult educator. I am truly happy that the training offered within the accreditation program for adult education development proved so useful and inspiring for her.
